Congratulations to the Award Winners Honored at the 2023 Fall IPDA Seminar
Chris Anderson and James Waller were honored with the Bruce Robert Jacobs Award at Friday night's IPDA dinner. This award is for public defenders from public defenders. It acknowledges the attorneys hard work and dedication to their clients and the fight for justice.
And congratulations to the Office of the State Appellate Defender for winning the IPDA President's Award for 50 years of work on behalf of indigent defendants. Ted Gottfried (the first State Appellate Defender) and Jim Chadd (the current State Appellate Defender) were on hand to accept the award and remember the early days of OSAD (including IPDA's hand in getting the agency off the ground.)
